BREAKING: Wife of Spare parts dealer kidnapped in Calabar
The Wife of a popular spare parts dealer, Mr. Longinus has been kidnapped in Calabar, Cross River State capital.

PARADISE NEWS learnt that Mrs. Longinus was abducted on Tuesday night at Victory Way, Satellite Town in Calabar Municipal Local Government Area.

According to a reliable source, “Mrs. Longinus was trying to remove her personal belongings from her car inside her compound, when the Kidnappers bump into the compound and whisked her away.

“They bundled her and pushed her into their Audi 80 Car and drove away”.

Mr. Longinus deals on car windscreens and other assorted spare parts. He is one of the many businessmen who have been victim of kidnappings in the State.

Also, a water leaf seller was allegedly kidnapped few weeks ago and the Kidnappers demanding N20,000 as ransom.

A bread seller was also kidnapped in Calabar – as the Kidnappers now target low income earners in the state.

This takes the kidnapping tally to over 11 in the state in the past few weeks with only a handful being released by the Nigeria Police Force.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police in Cross River State, CP Abdulkadir Jimoh, has paraded many suspected Kidnappers and criminals, sounding a stiff warning to whosoever is in involve to stay clear of the state as the Police embark on criminal hunt.

BREAKING NEWS:CNN ignores Nigeria's threat releases second report on Lekki shooting

  Amid threats of sanction from the Federal Government over its investigative report on the shootings at Lekki toll plaza during the #EndSARS protests, CNN has released a second report on the incident. The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, had last week described CNN’s report on the Lekki shootings as poor journalism, adding that the network deserved to be sanctioned. Mohammed also followed up the threat with a letter addressed to the management of CNN in Atlanta.   However, the network on Tuesday did a second report with more damning footage showing soldiers shooting at unarmed protesters on October 20, 2020.
